It is considered a valley in Miryang where one can enjoy a cool respite from the hot summer. Centered around Pyochungsa Temple, which is said to have been founded by Great Monk Wonhyo of Silla, two streams, Geumgangdongcheon and Okryudongcheon, flow respectively on its left and right sides. They meet at Sijeoncheon Stream, which then connects to Danjangcheon Stream, flowing across the Danjang-myeon area. Geumgangdongcheon flows from Sajabong Peak, while Okryudongcheon originates from Sajapyeong, well-known for its silver grass fields, and Sumibong Peak. The water is exceptionally clear and cold, making it a highly popular summer retreat. The shade provided by the dense trees is also excellent for cooling down in the height of summer. For hikers, the course ascending to Hangyeam Hermitage, passing Heukryongpokpo Waterfall, Cheungcheungpokpo Waterfall, Sumibong Peak, and Sajabong Peak along the valley, is also popular. A campsite is set up in the lower reaches of the valley, making it a favorite spot for family travelers.
