Beomnyongsa Temple, located in Suseo-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul, is a modern architectural structure with two basement levels and three above-ground floors, shaped like a boat (Prajna Dragon Boat). It serves as an educational venue, instructing bhikkhunis (Buddhist nuns) and lay Buddhists nationwide on all aspects of Buddhism, including practice, Dharma propagation, and social welfare, and training experts in various fields of society. For lay Buddhists, it offers specialized education through introductory classes (day and night) and basic classes (day and night). The cultural center also runs various courses including temple cuisine, minhwa (Korean folk painting), line gymnastics, gyubang crafts (traditional Korean sewing), everyday embroidery, yoga, flower arrangement, tea ceremony, and Buddhist painting.
